IPL 2026, RR vs GT: In the 52nd match of IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals fielded a new captain against Gujarat Titans. The team's regular captain Riyan Parag could not play in this match. In his place, young opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was given the command of the team. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a match as captain for the first time in IPL. He also managed to win the toss and decided to bowl first against Gujarat.
During the toss, Yashasvi Jaiswal also explained the reason for Riyan Parag's absence.
He told that Parag is out of the match due to hamstring injury. Parag had to face this injury in the last match. The team is hoping that he will soon be back fit and join the team.
