After Rohit's video went viral, Sharma had appealed to the broadcaster to stop the audio during the match played against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Wankhede Stadium. Actually, he was talking about something with his close friend Dhawal Kulkarni and this video was also shown live by Star Sports. Due to this, the hitman became angry and he took the help of social media platform X to express his displeasure.

He wrote, “Now people have become so intrusive in the lives of cricketers that now cameras are recording our every step and conversation everywhere. All those things are recorded which we are doing alone with our friends during the match or during practice.”

Rohit further wrote that “Despite asking Star Sports not to record my conversation, it was aired on air, which is a violation of privacy. The need to get some special content and focus only on views and engagement will one day break the trust between fans, cricketers and cricket. May there be better understanding.”

Let us tell you that in that conversation with Abhishek Nair, Rohit had said that “Brother, everything is changing there. It is my house, I have built it considering it as a temple. What is mine? Mine is the last.” Due to his words like this, fans speculated that this might be the 37-year-old's last season in the IPL. As soon as his video went viral, Kolkata deleted it from its social media platform. However, by then there was a lot of discussion about it.
