SRH vs KKR: In IPL 2026, the first match of the day is being played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday. Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat. There have been 2 changes in the Hyderabad team. Nitish Reddy is not playing due to illness. In his place, Karnataka’s rising star R Smaran made his IPL debut.

There have also been 2 changes in the playing-11 of KKR. Finn Allen will play in place of his New Zealand compatriot Tim Seifert while Manish Pandey comes in place of all-rounder Ramandeep Singh. After being ruled out of KKR’s previous match against Lucknow Super Giants, Mathisha Pathirana has not been able to play another match. However, KKR bowling coach Tim Southee has said that Pathirana is bowling well in the nets.

Hyderabad has won five consecutive matches and if they win again on Sunday, they will top the points table. When SRH look to defend their total in the evening, Praful Hinge or Saqib Hussain are likely to play as impact players. For KKR, Allen will come in while batting from the Impact Subs bench.
