Chennai Super Kings: The performance of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2026 has been full of ups and downs. She has been able to achieve only 4 wins in 9 matches. The biggest reason for which is the injury to their players. Star wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni has not been able to play a single match till now due to injury. Nathan Ellis, Ayush Mhatre and Khalil Ahmed are also out of the entire season due to injury. CSK team has now suffered another setback. In fact, another young player will no longer be seen playing in the upcoming matches.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has suffered another big setback in IPL 2026. Young fast bowler Ramakrishna Ghosh, who made his debut recently, is now out of the entire season. While sharing a post on social media, Chennai has said that Ramakrishna Ghosh had suffered a fracture in his right leg during the match against Mumbai Indians at Chepauk Stadium. Considering the seriousness of the injury, he will not be able to play any further matches this season.

Chennai Super Kings played this match on 2 May. In which Ramakrishna Ghosh made his debut and spent a total of 24 runs while bowling 3 overs.
During this, he got his first IPL wicket in the form of Suryakumar Yadav. After which it was expected that he would strengthen the bowling attack of CSK in the coming matches. 28 year old Ramakrishna Ghosh comes from Maharashtra. He came into limelight in the 2025-26 domestic season. He took 7 wickets for 42 runs against Himachal Pradesh in Jaipur, which were the best figures for the team in an innings in List A cricket.
After which Chennai Super Kings bought him in the year 2025. But he was able to make his debut there that season. This time he got a chance, but due to injury he is out.
