The batting statistics in IPL 2026 are showing an interesting trend, where the dominance of the Indian batsmen is clearly visible. This year, the average strike rate of Indian batsmen has been 154.17, while foreign batsmen have been able to score runs at a strike rate of 144.59. Earlier, this had happened only in 2010 and 2011, when Indian batsmen had scored faster runs than foreign players.

Indian players have also performed better in terms of average, where their average is 29.44, while the average of foreign batsmen is 26.5.
