Virat Kohli IPL 9000 Runs: In IPL, Indian cricket star Virat Kohli made a record which no player has been able to touch till now. He has become the first batsman in the world to reach this milestone. This achievement of Kohli has put him far ahead of all other batsmen.

In the 39th match of IPL 2026 against Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star batsman Virat Kohli created history. In this match played on Monday (April 27) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Kohli completed 9000 runs in IPL after scoring 11 runs and became the first batsman in the world to do so. He achieved this feat in his 275th match.

Kohli has been one of the most successful batsmen in IPL history, but now he has made a big difference from the other players by crossing the 9000 run mark. After Kohli, in terms of scoring the most runs in the IPL, the names of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner and KL Rahul are included, but no one has been able to reach even the figure of 8000 runs yet.

Batsmen who scored the most runs in IPL:

Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals team batting first was limited to only 75 runs. In reply, Royal Challengers Bangalore achieved the small target of 76 runs in just 6.3 overs.

Batting for RCB, Jacob Bethel scored 20 runs in 11 balls, while Devdutt Padikkal played a quick inning of 34 not out in 13 balls. Whereas Virat Kohli remained unbeaten after scoring 23 runs in 15 balls. In bowling, Josh Hazlewood performed brilliantly and took 4 wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets.
