Fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood together took a total of 7 wickets, due to which the Delhi team collapsed after scoring only 75 runs. But during this time, a 22 year old spinner did such a feat, which got recorded in the history of IPL.

Along with this, Suyyash Sharma bowled a total of 20 dot balls in 4 overs, which is the record for bowling the most dot balls in a match by any spinner in IPL history. Earlier this record was only in the name of fast bowler Deepak Chahar, who bowled 20 dot balls for Chennai Super Kings against Kolkata Knight Riders in the year 2019. Now both Suyyash and Deepak Chahar are sharing this record.

Suyyash Sharma made his IPL debut in 2023 for Kolkata Knight Riders. In his very first match, he took 3 wickets for 30 runs against RCB. After playing for KKR in 2023 and 2024, he is a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team from 2025.
