Rahul completed his century in just 47 balls. He has become the first batsman to score more than one century against three different teams. He has scored two centuries each for Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals. KL Rahul returned unbeaten and played an inning of 152 runs in 67 balls. Rahul had 9 sixes and 16 fours in this innings. That means he scored 118 runs from the boundary itself.

KL Rahul was seen in full form right from the beginning of the innings. He expressed his intentions by hitting two consecutive fours in the very second over. Maintaining this trend, he crossed fifty runs in just 26 balls. After fifty, Rahul completely changed gears and crossed the 90-run mark by hitting three fours and a six against Arshdeep Singh in the 14th over. In the very next over, Rahul completed his century by hitting a four. Rahul hit 12 fours and 5 sixes to complete his century. His celebration after scoring a century was worth seeing. Rahul became the fastest batsman to complete a century for Delhi. At the same time, this is his first century in IPL, which came in less than 50 balls.
