After a mixed performance in the ongoing IPL 2026 season, Sai Sudharsan made a solid fifty during the IPL 2026 game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru played at Bengaluru.

His fifty included 8 fours and 2 sixes while Shubman Gill played a second fiddle as GT brought their highest first-wicket partnership this season.

Ahead of this game, Sai Sudharsan scored 135 runs in 6 games with a high score of 73. He had an impressive outing in previous innings as he emerged as the highest run getter. In 46 IPL games, Sudharsan has amassed 1928 runs, which include 13 fifties and 2 hundreds.

After being invited to bat first, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill opened the innings while Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened the bowling attack.

Despite a slow start, the duo posted 57 runs in the powerplay. However, Sai Sudharsan went on to post his fifty in the 8th over and went on to aggressive mode accerelating his innings.
