Delhi: Virat Kohli once again created a new history with his batting in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the match played against Gujarat Titans (GT), the star batsman of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made many important achievements and gifted a brilliant innings to the audience.

New record of fours in IPL

As soon as Virat Kohli added another boundary to his account in this match, he became the first batsman to complete 800 fours in IPL history. Kohli maintained pressure on Gujarat’s bowlers with his classic batting and scored runs all around the field.

Triple century of sixes also completed

Kohli achieved another big achievement in this match. He completed his 300 sixes in IPL by hitting a six towards midwicket off Rashid Khan. With this he became the third batsman to hit 300 sixes in this league. Ahead of him are the names of Rohit Sharma (310 sixes) and Chris Gayle (357 sixes). Kohli achieved this milestone in 266 innings.

The team got strength from the quick half-century

Against Gujarat Titans, Virat Kohli adopted an aggressive style and completed his half-century in just 30 balls. This was the 66th half-century of his IPL career, while this is his third half-century in the current season. This inning of his played an important role in strengthening the position of the team.

Apart from Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal also performed brilliantly in this match. The left-handed batsman took the Gujarat Titans bowlers to task by scoring a half-century in just 20 balls.
