In a recent video conversation, batting maestro Virat Kohli stated his desire to visit Pakistan personally in order to experience the nation. He noted that Pakistan is growing in popularity among tourists.

Shahroz Kashif, a mountaineer, recently posted a video to his profile. He claimed that during his time in Nepal in 2022, an unidentified person from India commended his efforts and promised to connect him with Kohli.

Kohli unexpectedly responded to Shahroz’s message, which prompted the two to speak over video. Although Shahroz’s most recent reel suggests that the conversation took place lately, it’s not clear if the call took place recently or in the past.

Kashif shared the video on Instagram and captioned “In 2022, I was in Nepal when a stranger, originally from India (of course, I won’t reveal his name to avoid any political issues), praised my work. He said he had connections with the cricket team, so I jokingly expressed my desire to talk to Virat Kohli. Surprisingly, he messaged Kohli, and I had the chance to chat with him via video call. As a Pakistani, I proudly acknowledge Kohli as the greatest batsman of this era.”

Kohli is heard stating, “My regards to your family and all your friends,” in the video. “Everyone has started travelling to Pakistan, so hopefully we can go there soon.”
