Jay Shah on his Acheivements : BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has talked about his biggest achievement so far while working on the board. Jay Shah said that he organized IPL outside even during Covid and this is the biggest achievement for him. According to Jay Shah, at that time the organization of almost every game had stopped but by organizing the IPL, BCCI showed that they are no less than anyone.

Actually Jay Shah has been the Secretary of BCCI for the last many years. Many times his work was criticized and many times he was also appreciated. During his tenure, there was a controversy over India not playing the Asia Cup in Pakistan and it was organized in Sri Lanka under the hybrid model. It was during Jai Shah's tenure that Corona came and IPL had to be organized outside India behind closed doors.

While talking to Times of India, BCCI Secretary said, my biggest achievement so far is that even during Corona, we had organized IPL in UAE in 2020. During that time, big tournaments like Olympics, English Premier League and French Open were postponed or canceled but we showed the whole world what BCCI can do.
