If Suresh Raina was there then 180+ chase was there, left hand game for CSK

However, CSK's figures while chasing 180 plus target were not so bad when Suresh Raina was a part of the team. Till IPL 2019 with Suresh Raina, CSK has chased the target of 180 plus 9 times. However, in the rest of the season played after that, Raina was seen playing for CSK only in IPL 2021.

The sequence was not broken even after 8 years in Hyderabad

In the IPL 2026 match against SRH, Chennai Super Kings had a chance to break the record of not winning in Hyderabad for 8 years, which they missed. In the last 5 matches played against SRH under the captaincy of Raina, Ruturaj and Jadeja, CSK has been able to win only 1. Under the captaincy of Dhoni, CSK alone played 18 matches against SRH, out of which they lost only 4.
