Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of practice matches for the T20 World Cup 2024. It has been learned that the Pakistan team will not play its practice match before the ICC major tournament. Let us tell you that the four-match T20 International series between Pakistan and England will be held between May 22 and 30, due to which Pakistan will not be able to play practice matches. Not only this, the England team will also not play the warm-up match. Pakistan will leave for America from England on June 1. The green jersey team will play its first match in the World Cup against USA on June 6.
Practice matches will be played from 27 May to 1 June in USA and Trinidad and Tobago. There will be a total of 16 practice matches before the T20 World Cup, which will be held at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queens Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Indian team will play its only practice match against Bangladesh, which will be held on June 1. Its venue has not been confirmed yet. It is worth noting that warm-up matches do not have T20 International status. Teams can field all their 15 players, but only get 10 wickets while batting.
