ICC releases schedule of practice matches for T20 World Cup, India will face neighboring country

Delhi: The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be played next month, which will be hosted by the United States of America and West Indies. 20 other countries including India are ready to participate in this Mahakumbh. All the cricket boards have announced their respective 15-member teams for this. In such a situation, the International Cricket Council has now announced the schedule of practice matches for the upcoming tournament.

Practice matches will be played in USA, Trinidad and Tobago from 27 May to 1 June. There will be a total of 16 practice matches before the World Cup, which will be held at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queens Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

Team India will play its only practice match against Bangladesh. This match will take place on June 1. However, if reports are to be believed, its venue has not been finalized yet. It is known that warm-up matches do not have T20 International status. The team can field all its 15 players. However, while batting, only 10 wickets will be taken. At the same time, tickets for the warm-up matches can be purchased from May 16 at Tickets.t20worldcup.com or from the box office of the National Cricket Center and Queens Park Oval.
