GT vs KKR, IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans stormed to their third consecutive win in IPL 2026 as they brushed aside the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 17, Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Although Cameron Green roared with a whirlwind 79, it proved to be a mere footnote as Shubman Gill played a match-winning knock of 86 to steer the Titans home in a run-chase of 181. Although the match went down to the wire, the Titans accomplished the job comfortably.

Here are the key moments from GT vs KKR IPL 2026 clash

4) KKR losing three wickets in the powerplay

Along with losing Ajinkya Rahane for a golden duck, the Knight Riders also lost Tim Seifert (19) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (8) without many runs. Having been 32/3 after four overs, the three-time champions faced an extremely difficult rebuilding job. Although Cameron Green hit back with an explosive 79, another collapsed in the back end meant they finished only with 180.

3) Rovman Powell’s dismissal for 27

Rovman Powell led a promising rebuilding job with Cameron Green as he unleashed two sixes and as many boundaries. But Ashok Sharma deceived the West Indian with a slower delivery as he was dismissed for 27, ending a 55-run stand. After Powell’s departure, only Ramandeep Singh reached double figures.

2) Ramandeep Singh’s dismissal for 17

Ramandeep Singh, who came out to bat in the 16th over of the innings, started his innings with a maximum, followed by back-to-back boundaries in the following over bowled by Ashok Sharma.

However, the all-rounder played one shot too many and too soon to perish for 17 off 8 deliveries. Ramandeep’s presence until the end could have given the Knight Riders to fight with.

1) Rashid Khan’s outstanding 20th over

Rashid Khan had conceded 43 off his first three overs but was still called up to bowl the final six deliveries. Bowling to a well-set Cameron Green, who was on 78, the Afghanistan leggie conceded only six runs to bowl the Knight Riders out for 180.
