Deshraj Chahar, the father of cricketer Rahul Chahar, has allegedly been defrauded by the builder of Galaxy Nirman Private Limited.
The story started when Deshraj Chahar paid a large deposit to book a home in the recently built Narsi Village community in Maghtai village, only to become entangled in a web of lies and threats.
Mr. Chahar claims that he began with the bright hope of purchasing a residence in the Mauza Maghtai colony of Narsi Village. After expressing interest in the property in 2012, Mr. Chahar went ahead and reserved house number 182, which was originally registered in Geetam Singh’s name. But later on, he decided to transfer the house to his talented cricketer son, Rahul Chahar. He had no idea how much of a maze of lies lay ahead of him.
Mr. Chahar waited patiently for ten years while the house gradually took shape, only to be confronted with more and more irritation and dishonesty when the work finally came to an end. Upon attempting to complete the registration procedure, he got wrapped up in a bureaucratic maze, as the staff members of the company allegedly disregarded his demands and resorted to intimidation instead. Piyush Goyal, the head of sales, allegedly led the intimidation campaign, which left Mr. Chahar hopeless.
Mr. Chahar felt even more betrayed when he tried to contact the company’s office in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, to seek solutions. He was met with a dead silence in response. Mr. Chahar’s distress got worse by the fact that neither Vasudev Garg, the owner of the business, nor Arun Gupta, the finance head, showed any enthusiasm to assist with the registration procedure.
Mr Chahar filed a formal complaint with the city’s Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) office in an attempt to hold the offenders accountable. As a result, the Jagdishpura police station has opened an investigation to find the truth about the fraud committed by Galaxy Nirman Private Limited.
Speaking on the subject, DCP Suraj Rai confirmed the seriousness of the problem and said that he had received Mr. Chahar’s complaint about the house not being registered in the recently built community. He promised quick action, saying that the police would conduct the investigation with the goal of obtaining solid proof to back up the filing of a case and the subsequent application of penalties to the guilty parties.
