Hardik Pandya was furious after losing the match to Punjab Kings; said- I have nothing more to say

Mumbai Indians had given a target of 196 runs to Punjab Kings.

Mumbai Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has given credit to the opposition for the win after their seven-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings in the IPL, saying he has nothing much to say about their poor performance and will have to sit back and see where the flaws lie.

Chasing Mumbai’s target of 196 runs, the Punjab Kings team was successful in registering an easy victory by scoring 198 runs for three wickets in 16.3 overs, thanks to Prabhasimran’s unbeaten 80 runs in 39 balls with 11 fours and two sixes and his 139-run partnership for the third wicket with captain Shreyas Iyer (66 runs, 35 balls, five fours, four sixes).

Earlier, Quinton de Kock, playing his first match in the current season, apart from playing an unbeaten inning of 112 runs with seven sixes and eight fours in 60 balls, made a partnership of 122 runs for the third wicket with Naman Dhir (50 runs, 31 balls, three fours, three sixes), due to which Mumbai Indians scored 195 runs for six wickets.

These two came together at a time when the team was in trouble after losing two wickets for 12 runs.

Pandya said after the match, honestly, I don’t have much to say. We need to sit down and consider where we are lagging whether it is individual players, the team, or our planning and way of working and then fix it. Giving credit for the victory to Punjab Kings, Pandya said, the credit goes to Punjab Kings.

The ball started swinging reverse. Dew also fell in the second innings. They defeated us. Their bowling and fielding was better than ours. Now we have to see whether we need to take some tough decisions or whether we should move forward like this and try to turn the situation around. We have to take our own responsibility.
