Sachin Tendulkar: An SRPF jawan deployed for the security of Sachin Tendulkar, known as the God of Cricket, has committed suicide by shooting himself. The reason behind committing suicide has not been revealed yet. SRPF jawan committed suicide in Jalgaon, Maharashtra on Wednesday. He woke up at around 1:30 in the night and shot himself. After the incident, a team of Jamner police visited the house.

No suicide note found in the house

The police officer said, 'The constable who committed suicide was a member of the security team deployed on the call of Sachin Tendulkar. Prakash Govind Kapade, attached to the State Reserve Police Force, shot himself with his service revolver in the early morning. Govind had reached his home town Jamner with his family last week. He shot at around 1:30 in the night. Hearing the sound of the bullet, many people in the house woke up and found Govind soaked in blood. He was immediately taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. No suicide note was found with the deceased.

Govind was posted at Sachin Tendulkar's residence.

Govind Kapade was deployed at the residence of Sachin Tendulkar, known as the God of Cricket. The officer said, 'He was posted at Sachin Tendulkar's residence in Bandra last year. Govind had joined the SRPF 15 years ago and was currently serving with the Special Security Unit of Maharashtra Police on deputation.
