Abhishek and Head made a partnership of 120 runs in only 8.1 overs. Both of them scored 105 runs in the power play only.

Sunrisers Hyderabad holds the record for scoring the most runs in the power play of IPL, having scored 125 runs without losing any wicket against Delhi Capitals in Delhi in 2024. Abhishek Sharma played a stormy inning of 74 runs in only 28 balls. In this innings he hit five fours and eight sixes. Whereas Travis Head played a brilliant inning of 38 runs in 23 balls.
