The Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Match No. 20 of the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2026 on April 12 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

MI are currently placed eighth on the points table with one win from three matches. The five-time champions made a strong start to their campaign, successfully chasing down one of the biggest targets against the Kolkata Knight Riders in their tournament opener. However, they failed to maintain momentum, suffering consecutive defeats against the Delhi Capitals and the Rajasthan Royals. They will now be eager to bounce back and return to winning ways.

Meanwhile, RCB, the defending champions, are in a stronger position, sitting third on the table with two wins from three matches. They began their campaign impressively with back-to-back victories over the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Chennai Super Kings. However, they faced a setback in their most recent outing, losing to the Rajasthan Royals, and will be keen to get back to winning ways in this clash.
