Sports Desk. Today in the 15th match of IPL 19, a match will be played between Kolkata and Lucknow. Before this match, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has now imposed a restriction on the players. BCCI has issued guidelines for the players who are not selected in the playing 11 during the IPL match, which all the players will have to follow, otherwise action can be taken.

According to reports, now BCCI has banned players sitting on the bench from roaming around the field during IPL matches.

Under this, now only the 16 players nominated for the match will be allowed to come to the field for some important work (like carrying drinks or sending messages).

Earlier you might have seen reserve players going to the field carrying drinks, bats or messages. Now doing so has been banned. The Indian Board has now made it clear that only a maximum of five players will be able to roam around the boundary rope, these five players will be included in the nominated 16, the remaining players will have to sit in the dugout.
