Lucknow: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) young batsman Abhishek Sharma has made a lot of noise with his bat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. This season he has performed brilliantly and all the great players of the cricket world are praising him. Now his fellow player and star batsman Aidan Markram has also joined in this series and he has sung ballads in praise of this player. Sharma has been associated with the team for the last several years and is continuously performing well. However, in IPL 2024, he has shown consistency in his batting with a better strike rate. This is why even Markram could not stop himself from praising him. This season, the left-handed batsman had also made the record of scoring the fastest half-century for Hyderabad. In such a situation, considering his batting skills, Markram has given a big statement while talking to news agency PTI.
He said, “Abhi has played very well this season. He was really showing some positive signs last season and what he has achieved so far this season puts him in a good position to hopefully represent India one day. He has a very calm and balanced head on his shoulders and will take everything in stride but I just want him to get his high regard and perform like this for India.”
The 23-year-old batsman has consistently scored runs at an excellent strike rate this season, due to which Hyderabad made the highest powerplay score in the history of the IPL season. If we talk about this player, he has played a total of 12 matches so far this season, in which he has scored 401 runs with an average of 36.45 and an impressive strike rate of 205.64. During this period, he has scored 2 half-centuries with his bat, while his best score has been 75 runs.
