Rajasthan Royals have nothing to worry about as far as their playing combination is concerned for their upcoming fixture in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 against Mumbai Indians. This fierce encounter will be played at the ACA Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday, April 07, and will be a home fixture for the 2008 champions.

The Riyan Parag-led side won a nail-biting clash against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, where Tushar Deshpande kept nerves of steel to deliver a crucial final over, with only 11 runs at his disposal.

With the win against GT, the Rajasthan-based franchise has completed back-to-back wins and is dominating the points table. As a result, any significant changes to their playing XI on Tuesday seem highly unlikely.

Here's RR's predicted playing XI for Match 13 versus MI Top-order: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel (WK)

It is no surprise that the Royals have among the most deadly opening combinations in the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Despite the Mumbai cricketer being highly sought after, it is the danger posed by the 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi that is expected to wreak havoc in the middle. The two can take the maximum advantage of powerplay overs, which is exactly what RR will be looking for.

At number three, youngster Dhruv Jurel is expected to show his firepower in the middle. He started slow against GT but accelerated at the exact moment to amass 75 off just 42 deliveries and took the team's total to a formidable one. Jurel is also expected to handle the duties behind the wickets with gloves in his hands.

Middle-order: Shimron Hetmyer, and Donovan Ferreira Shemron Hetmyer. (Photo Source: BCCI/IPL)

Without a doubt, Rajasthan's middle order perfectly complements their top-order unit. With Shimron Hetmyer expected to maraud his blade and make the ball go the distance, he is one of the vital cogs for that batting position for the Royals.

Speaking of an able finisher, Donovan Ferreira is arguably among the best in the world at the moment. With truckloads of experience playing in franchise-based T20 leagues around the globe, the South African international can bat at a strike-rate, which can take the team total from a decent to a daunting one against a formidable Mumbai Indians attack.

All-rounders: Riyan Parag (C), and Ravindra Jadeja Riyan Parag. (Photo Source: IPL/BCCI)

Riyan Parag has already shown the glimpses of his captaincy in the field, but his batting hasn't clicked at best under the pressure of leadership this season. He will be wanting to get some runs under his belt against MI, which can help his side register a hat-trick of wins in Guwahati before they prepare themselves to face RCB.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is among the best in his business. His slow left-arm orthodox bowling foxed a couple of CSK batters in RR's campaign opener. Later, Jadeja also accounted for a miserly spell against GT. However, he would be hoping for some runs from his blade as well, since his batting position asks him to finish the games for his side.

Lower-order: Nandre Burger, Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi (IMP) Jofra Archer. (Source:IPL )

If there is one thing that has looked the most impressive for RR in the ongoing season, it has to be their pace-bowling department. Nandre Burger and Jofra Archer have struck crucial breakthroughs during powerplay overs, while Sandeep Sharma has executed his deliveries perfectly to stem the flow of runs. Deshpande has been impressive as well.

Speaking of spinners, RR will have to rely on the services of Ravi Bishnoi, whom they might use as an impact substitute. The skilled leg-spinner delivered an exceptional spell against the Titans, which pulled the game in RR's favour. His leg-break and googlies are expected to provide the needed breakthoughs for the Royals.
