The Indian Premier League (IPL) is the biggest cricket league in the world and it is not hidden from anyone how much this league entertains the fans, but this time, the discussion has moved away from the boundaries and wickets and has shifted to the rising cost of watching the match live.

At present, a video of Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow is going viral very fast due to which BCCI is being criticized a lot.

After watching this video, fans are raising the question whether watching IPL matches will now be made impossible for the common audience.

The controversy started when a young fan made a video of himself inside the stadium, in which he expressed his surprise at the prices of everyday items. According to the video, a bottle of water which cost around Rs 20 outside the stadium was being sold for around Rs 100 inside.

Snack items like chips, which are usually available for Rs 20 in local shops, were reportedly being sold for between Rs 60 and Rs 70 at the stadium.

The clip quickly spread across social media platforms and viewers criticized the pricing as excessive and unfair to fans who had already spent a lot of money on tickets and travel to the match.

Many users after watching the video called it blatant robbery and argued that spectators have limited purchasing options inside the stadium and are actually forced to pay higher prices.
