In IPL 2026, Punjab Kings’ young batsman Priyansh Arya put Chennai Super Kings under pressure with a stormy start. He tried to change the course of the match by scoring fast runs from the beginning, but New Zealand’s star fast bowler Matt Henry made a brilliant comeback and put a break on his innings. After hitting a six, Henry clean bowled Arya on the very next ball and sent him to the pavilion.
In the seventh match of IPL 2026 played between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings on Friday (April 3), young batsman Priyansh Arya caught everyone’s attention with his explosive batting. Arya gave a great start to the Punjab team which was chasing the big target of 210 runs.
Priyansh Arya looked aggressive from the beginning and attacked the Chennai bowlers fiercely. He played a quick inning of 39 runs in just 11 balls, which included 3 fours and 4 sixes. On the basis of his innings, Punjab Kings added 61 runs in just 4.1 overs and took a strong hold in the match.
However, just when it seemed that Priyansh would make the match one-sided, Matt Henry made a brilliant comeback and put the brakes on his innings. On the first ball of the 5th over of the innings, Priyansh hit a strong six to Henry, but on the very next ball, Henry changed the length of the ball and bowled a slightly shorter ball.
This time Priyansh went ahead to play a big shot, but this time he missed the line and the ball went straight and hit the off stump. With this brilliant ball, Henry ended Priyansh’s dangerous innings and gave the first success to Chennai Super Kings.
