Angkrish Raghuvanshi leads Orange Cup race; Jaydev Unadkat dons Purple Cap

Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s fifty went into vain as Kolkata Knight Riders suffered a heavy 65-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the sixth match of IPL 2026.

The Sunrisers registered the biggest total of the season so far by putting 226 runs on the scorecard at Eden Gardens. Angkrish stood strong for the Knight Riders, but Jaydev Unadkat’s three-wicket spell guided the visiting side to their first win of the season.

With six games done and dusted, the race for the IPL 2026 Orange Cap and Purple Cap is heating up nicely.
