Bhanuka Rajapaksa vs Sri Lanka actress: Sri Lankan cricketer Bhanuka Rajapaksa has taken legal action against actress Harshi Rasanga. The matter is related to the gold chain, regarding which Bhanuka Rajapaksa's lawyers sent a legal notice to the actress. In the legal notice sent to the actress, it was said that the Sri Lankan cricketer had temporarily given her a gold chain, which was worth Rs 9 lakh. But, Harshi Rasanga mortgaged it without informing the Sri Lankan player. This matter gained momentum when the actress created a different story on social media. Actress arrested on complaint of Sri Lankan cricketer

Thalangagama Police of Sri Lanka arrested Harshi Rasanga, after which he was produced in the Kaduwela Magistrate Court. During the hearing of the case in the court, Harshi Rasanga's lawyers admitted that the gold chain had been mortgaged without informing the cricketer. A promise was also made by the actress that she would bring it and return it to Bhanuka Rajapaksa.

The matter became interesting due to the U-turn of the actress after getting bail.

Now everything was fine till now but this whole matter took a surprising turn when the court granted bail to the actress. The court granted bail to Harshi Rasanga on two sureties of Rs 5 lakh each. As soon as she got the bail, she made an explosive statement on social media, in which she said that Sri Lankan cricketer Bhanuka Rajapaksa had gifted her that chain when both of them were in a relationship with each other.

When will the next hearing be held in the case?

No statement has yet come from Bhanuka Rajapaksa on this claim of actress Harshi Rasanga. However, this has definitely brought an interesting twist to the whole case. The Kuduwela Magistrate Court has ordered the Thalangagama Police to produce the gold chain during the next custodial hearing. According to the newswire report, the next hearing in this case is to be held on April 22.
