Wicketkeeper-batsman Mukul Chaudhary had entered the auction with a base price of Rs 30 lakh and Lucknow bought him with a bid of Rs 2.60 crore.

Mukul Chaudhary is a resident of Gudhagaudji town of Jhunjhunu district.

Mukul Chaudhary had recently told in an interview that becoming a cricketer was his only target.

Talking about Mukul Chaudhary's career, so far he has played 4 First Class, 5 List A and 7 T20 matches.
