Punjab Kings’ pacer Arshdeep Singh on Tuesday delivered an 11-ball over against Gujarat Titans in New Chandigarh, making it the joint-longest over in the Indian Premier League.
The left-armer’s over, the 20th of the Titans’ innings, included four wides and a no ball, and cost the Kings 12 runs.
Hardik Pandya, Shardul Thakur, Sandeep Sharma, Tushar Deshpande, and Mohammed Siraj are the others to have bowled overs comprising 11 deliveries.
Arshdeep ended his quota of four overs without any wicket and conceded 42 runs. However, PBKS was able to restrict Gujarat Titans to a middling 162 for six in 20 overs courtesy of Vyshak Vijaykumar’s three for 34. Yuzvendra Chahal also nabbed two wickets for just 28 runs.
