Ben Duckett: Ben Duckett committed this crime on the middle of the road, fined Rs 1.37 lakh

England's star cricketer Ben Duckett is constantly embroiled in controversies. Duckett is already facing a lot of criticism due to the drunken incident during the series on Australia tour and then withdrawing his name 2 days before the start of IPL 2026 season. Now he has been caught violating the rules in the middle of the road in his own country and has been punished for this. According to the report of English media, Ben Duckett has been found guilty of over-speeding in England and in this case he will have to pay a total of Rs 1.38 lakh as fine.

The report from England has revealed that just a few days ago in Saffordshire, England ben duckett Found violating the speed limit. Duckett himself was driving his Land Rover SUV and during this time the speed of his car was 93 miles per hour i.e. 150 kilometers per hour. But the speed limit on the road on which he was driving his car at such a high speed was 70 miles per hour i.e. about 112 kilometers per hour. This means that it is clear that he was driving at a speed much higher than the speed limit.

Duckett stuck due to overspeeding

Duckett was captured on CCTV violating the speed limit. Although this incident happened in August last year, after which Duckett came to light, accepting it as his mistake, he did not protest against it. Now the decision in this case has come in March, where the court has imposed a fine of 700 pounds i.e. 87 thousand rupees on him. But they will not only have to pay 87 thousand, but will also have to spend 400 pounds (about 50 thousand rupees) in different cases.

That means, due to one mistake, Duckett will have to pay a total fine of 1100 pounds (Rs 1.37 lakh). Apart from this, 4 penalty points have also been added to his license. Earlier in 2015, Duckett was involved in a drunk driving case. Then he was banned from driving for 12 months.

Controversy in Ashes and IPL too

Duckett recently came into limelight for withdrawing his name from IPL 2026. This England Test opener was bought by Delhi Capitals at a base price of Rs 2 crore but just 2 days before the tournament started on March 28, he suddenly announced his withdrawal of his name. Duckett had said that he had taken this decision to save his Test career. Even before this, during the Ashes Test series on Australia tour in December, he was caught in a drunken state, due to which there was a huge uproar.
