Both went on to capitalise on the innings on different occasions and slammed fifties to set a formidable total against the mighty Mumbai Indians.

After being invited to bat first, Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen opened the innings while Trent Boult opened the bowling attack.

Despite a solid start from the openers, Shardul Thakur brought the first breakthrough by dismissing Finn Allen for 37 runs.

With Cameron Green coming to bat at no. 3, he added 18 runs before being dismissed by Thakur.
