The Kolkata Knight Riders are one of the most glamorous franchises in the tournament. The three-time champions have a history of success and splendor in their existence throughout the history of the IPL. A team built on utility and finding the right combinations, they are just behind the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings as the second most successful team in the IPL.
In their spell throughout multiple renditions of the tournament, they have been dominant and set multiple records which are daunting and look unbreakable in their context.
Three Kolkata Knight Riders records that might not be broken Longest win-streak (10 matches, 2014-15)The Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 were one of the most dominant teams the IPL has seen. And it is exemplified by their winning streak of 10 consecutive games, which extended into the 2015 season. This included the thrilling 2014 finals triumph against the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings).
The Knight Riders went on a nine-game unbeaten streak in the 2014 season, on their way to the title, before winning the opening game of the 2015 season, making it ten consecutive victories, a daunting record that no one is yet to conquer.

Kolkata Knight Riders comprehensively beat a strong Sunrisers Hyderabad side in one of the most one-sided final in IPL history. The two best teams of the edition met in the summit clash in 2024, and the Kolkata Knight Riders bowled out the Sunrisers for just 113 with a superb bowling performance.
Kolkata Knight Riders completed the chase in the finals in just 10.3 overs, with Venkatesh Iyer finishing unbeaten on 52 off just 26 balls. The triumph saw Kolkata Knight Riders lift their third IPL crown.
Dismissing opposition for lowest total in IPL history (RCB)Kolkata Knight Riders had a dream outing on April 23, 2017 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens. Being put into bat, the Knight Riders were bundled out for 131, with Sunil Narine top scoring with 34. This looked to be an easy chase for the star-studded Royal Challengers batting lineup.
What followed was absolute bowling carnage, as Knight Riders bowled the Royal Challengers out for 49 in an impressively dominant display. This remains lowest total in IPL history. Nathan Coulter-Nile, Chris Woakes and Colin de Grandhomme wreaked havoc and finished with three wickets each.
