The Mumbai Indians are looking to lift their sixth IPL trophy as they head into the 2026 season. After a slow start to the season, a late comeback saw them make the playoffs before crashing out in Qualifier 2 against the Punjab Kings in the 2025 season.

Ahead of the start of the 2026 season, Mumbai Indians team owner Nita Ambani was seen visiting the Wankhede Stadium where the team was training, meeting all the players and staff who were present at the ground.

She was shocked seeing at the former Indian captain Rohit Sharma's fitness, exclaiming that she was unable to recognise him.

"My God Rohit, I didn't recognise you. You look like a young boy," Nita Ambani said, in a video posted by the Mumbai Indians.
