Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Will Jacks and Reece Topley have left the franchise to play for England.

The defending champions of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will take on Pakistan in the upcoming T20I series and the England and Wales Cricket Board had instructed the players to leave India before the start of the contests.

Will Jacks will be a big miss, considering his sensational batting and wicket-taking abilities.

He was among the runs since getting a chance in the playing XI. Jacks played a key role in RCB’s five constitutive wins in the 17th season. After Glenn Maxwell’s failures, the management included the English player and there was no looking back for the star performer.

In eight matches, he scored 230 runs at a strike rate of 175.57.

On the other hand, Topley failed to impress and was dropped from the playing group after expensive bowling spells in the Indian Premier League 2024. RCB are still in contention for the playoffs and if they manage to beat Chennai Super Kings by a significant margin in their last league match, they will surpass the defending champions in the points table.a

However, the power-hitting and golden arm of Jacks will be missed in the crucial match.
