Selectors also expressed confidence in young players

The T20 International series squad for the Indian women’s cricket team’s tour to South Africa has been announced.
The team includes experienced players like Shefali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma and Richa Ghosh, who will provide strength to the batting. In the bowling department, players like Renuka Thakur, Arundhati Reddy and Shreyanka Patil have been given place, who will give balance to the team. Apart from this, the selectors have also expressed confidence in some young talents. Preparation for the future has been kept in mind by including Kashvi Gautam, Kranti Gaur and Shri Charani in the team.
This T20 series between India and South Africa will start from 17 April 2026. The second match of the series will be played on 19 April, the third on 22 April and the fourth on 25 April. The first two matches will be held in Durban, while the third and fourth matches will be played in Johannesburg. The fifth and final match will be held on April 27.
All the matches will be played in the evening and night as per Indian time, which will make this series very exciting for the Indian audience. This tour is considered very important for the preparation of upcoming international competitions.
