However, his replacement has not been announced yet by the franchise, due to which questions have been raised on the bowling combination of the team.

The first match of IPL 2026 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on 28 March. This match will be held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
