Delhi: Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has given a big statement about the depth and strength of Team India in T20 International cricket. He believes that India has so many talented players that it can field not one, but two strong teams, and both the teams will be capable of challenging any big team in the world.

Ganguly said that there is no dearth of talent in Indian cricket.

Specially mentioning Shreyas Iyer, the former captain said that his being out of the T20 team is shocking.

Ganguly admitted that a player like Iyer should get more chances in T20Is, but he is being constantly ignored, which is beyond comprehension.

Ganguly further said that the team has experienced players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, while young talents like Yashasvi Jaiswal do not get a chance every time. Apart from this, players like Vaibhav Suryavanshi can also make their place in any international team.

Talking about the bowling department, he said that players like Harshit Rana, Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Yadav are also constantly waiting for the opportunity. Having such a large number of quality players shows that India has immense depth in T20 cricket.

According to Ganguly, this bench strength is the biggest strength of the Indian team.
