The Chief Minister of UP will hand over the appointment letter of Regional Sports Officer to Rinku Singh on March 24 at 5 pm at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow.
Along with Rinku Singh, appointment letters will also be handed over to 6 other international players associated with different sports. (Photo: PTI)
Rinku Singh has got the post of Regional Sports Officer under sports quota.
Rinku Singh's salary on this post can range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 per month. This will also include their DA, HRA and other expenses. (Photo: PTI)

Apart from Rinku, among the players who are to get appointment letters is Rajkumar Pal, a member of the Indian hockey team that won the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics, who has been made the DSP of Ghazipur.
Apart from him, Praveen Kumar, who won the gold medal in the high jump event of Paris Paralympics, has been made DSP in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Ajit Singh, who won silver medal in javelin throw and Simran, who won bronze in 200 meter race, have been made District Panchayat Raj Officer.
