Yash Dayal missed RCB’s training session at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday. The pacer, integral to RCB’s 2025 IPL triumph, is currently facing two separate physical abuse allegations, including one case involving a minor. Social media users noticed that while all other players’ faces were on the IPL 2026 team bus, Dayal’s image was not included. He finished last season with 13 wickets.

His absence has sparked speculation, with many suggesting that the franchise may have excluded him due to ongoing legal matters.

The legal cases against Dayal are still in progress. In January, the Rajasthan High Court granted him anticipatory bail in one of the matters after a lower court had previously denied his plea.

Additionally, Dayal recently married content creator Shweta Pundir in a private ceremony on February 4, attended only by family members. The couple has not made an official announcement on social media, though Pundir shared a brief reel featuring moments with Dayal on her Instagram account.

Shweta Pundir, a Delhi-based influencer and vlogger with over 587,000 Instagram followers, has also worked as a broadcaster for the Intercontinental Legends League. She recently posted a video showing Dayal training on his own.
