The Indian women's cricket team, which became world champion for the first time, is going to be very busy in the coming months. Team India, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, who recently returned from Australia tour, is going to tour abroad for some big series this year. The most special one in this is going to be the tour of South Africa, where Team India will go twice within 9 months.

In this, a historic test match will also be played after 60 years. In this way, Team India will play series of all three formats in two tours.

Tour in April and December

Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced its home season on Friday, March 20, in which the schedule of the series with Team India and Australia was released. Team India's tour is very special in this because this will be the second time this year that the Indian women's team will go to South Africa for a series.

There is going to be a 5-match T20 series between the two teams in April, which was announced long ago.

After this, the Indian team will go to South Africa again at the end of the year. According to the schedule released by CSA, the Indian team will reach there in December and play a 3-match ODI series. The matches of this series will be played on 9 December (Potchefstraum), 12 December (Bloemfontein) and 15 December (Cape Town).

Historic Test in India-South Africa

After this, the only Test match will be played between the two teams from 20 to 23 December, which will be very historic.

This match will be played in Gaberkha (Port Elizabeth). Women's test match will be held on this ground after 66 years. Earlier in 1960, a test match was played here between South Africa and England.
