IPL 2026 starts on March 28 and Royal Challengers Bengaluru open their title defense that same evening against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Tickets for RCB home matches are not yet on sale but the franchise has confirmed the key details fans need to know before the sale opens. Here is everything confirmed so far about buying tickets and getting to the ground on match day.

RCB have confirmed that tickets for home matches at the Chinnaswamy will be available exclusively through the official RCB website and app.

No other platform will be selling tickets for RCB home games this season. The Phase 1 sale date has not yet been announced but is coming soon and fans are being advised to stay tuned for the confirmation.

When the sale opens here is how to book. Visit shop.royalchallengers.com or open the RCB app. Select the match you want to attend once it is live on the platform. Choose your preferred seating category and the number of tickets you need.

If you want to drive to the ground pre-book your parking at this stage as slots are extremely limited. Approved parking zones are Garuda Mall, St Joseph’s Indian High School, St Joseph’s Boys High School and Freedom Park. Complete your payment and your e-ticket will be sent to you. On match day scan the QR code on your ticket for entry at the stadium gate.

IPL 2026, RCB home game tickets: Getting to the ground and what to know on match day

RCB have confirmed a free metro ride on match day for all ticket holders. No additional cost or registration is required. Simply scan the QR code on your match ticket at the metro gate to access the free ride.

The nearest metro stations to the Chinnaswamy Stadium are Cubbon Park and MG Road both of which are convenient for the ground. For fans driving to the game parking must be pre-booked during the ticket purchase process as walk-in parking will not be available. A shuttle bus service will also operate from Cubbon Road for fans who need a drop off close to the stadium.

Entry to the stadium on match day is from Cubbon Road and Link Road only. Each ticket will have the specific outer and inner gate printed on it and fans are advised to check their gate details in advance to avoid delays on the day.

RCB will be sharing timely match day updates in coordination with Bengaluru City Police so following the official RCB channels in the days before the game is the best way to stay informed about any last-minute changes to entry or traffic arrangements.
