Former India player Dinesh Karthik and his wife, Dipika Pallikal, have been blessed with a baby girl, Raaha Pallikal Karthik. The star couple shared the news on social media and introduced their daughter, who is the younger sister of their twin sons Kabir and Zian.

The two got married on August 25, 2015, in traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies and welcomed their two kids in 2021.

Karthik enjoyed a memorable career and was a part of the Indian team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa. He was brilliant with the bat and behind the stumps before becoming a coach and commentator following his retirement from international cricket. Over two decades, he competed in Tests, ODIs and T20Is, and later served as a batting coach and mentor for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

On the other hand, Dipika is a squash player who scripted history after she became the first Indian woman to enter the bracket of the top 10 players in the world. She won several medals at the Commonwealth and Asian Games and is also a recipient of the Padma Shri. She is one of the most successful Indian athletes.

Dipika was last seen in action during the Asian Games in 2023, where she won a gold medal in mixed doubles.

Karthik is current associated with RCB as a batter coach and is a part of the support staff headed by Andy Flower. He played a key role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s maiden IPL title last year. His inputs from the dugout and during the breaks helped players, including Virat Kohli and captain Rajat Patidar.

RCB will enter the upcoming season as defending champions, as DK will have to be at his best to keep the batters ready. He believes in interacting with the players, and his experience will be helpful for the team in pressure situations.
