Till his recovery, Ishan Kishan will be the captain and Abhishek Sharma will take over as the vice-captain.

In this biggest league of the world, Ishan has scored 2,998 runs in 112 innings of 119 matches at an average of 29.10 and strike rate of 137.64. During this period, he has scored 1 century and 17 half-centuries from his bat.

At the same time, 27-year-old Ishan has proved his ability behind the wickets also. As a keeper, Ishan has taken 58 catches and made 5 stumpings. The last season of IPL was very good for the left-handed aggressive batsman. He scored 354 runs in 14 matches at an average of more than 152.
