Mainpuri. A heart-wrenching accident took place late on Tuesday night in village Athapura of Kurawali police station area of ​​the district. The wall of the mud house suddenly collapsed, causing death to the sleeping family. In this tragic accident, three people including two innocent children died on the spot, while three others were seriously injured.

According to the information received, village resident Brijesh Kumar Jatav was living in a kutcha house with his family. At around 11 pm on Tuesday night, the entire family was fast asleep under the tin shed placed against the wall. Then suddenly the wall collapsed and all the debris fell on the family. After the accident, there was a commotion in the village due to screams. The villagers who reached the spot immediately started relief and rescue operations and pulled out the people buried under the debris. But by then 40-year-old Ruby, 8-year-old Dilip Kumar and 13-year-old wife had stopped breathing.

Brijesh Kumar, Gudiya and Pallavi were seriously injured in the incident, who were immediately admitted to the Community Health Center, where they are undergoing treatment. As soon as the information was received, police and administrative officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.

Construction work became the cause of the accident

Preliminary investigation has revealed that construction work was going on in the house. Due to digging the foundation of the new wall, it was filled with water, due to which the old mud wall became weak and bent. Late at night this wall suddenly collapsed and the entire family got trapped in it. This painful accident has spread mourning in the village. The happiness of one family was destroyed in a moment and every eye is moist.
