An advocate family living in a rented house in Sector I of Ashiana area, beat up his son-in-law, who had reached his in-laws’ house, in the room of the house on Tuesday night. This sensational incident created a stir in the entire area. On receiving the information, Ashiana police took the body of the deceased in their custody and took the accused father-in-law and his four daughters into custody for questioning, while the forensic team was called to collect samples of blood and samples of the struggle in the house. The spots were collected and sent for investigation. DCP ADCP reached the spot, inspected the spot and gave necessary instructions.

For the last ten years, Tirathraj Singh has been living with his wife Saroj and five daughters Radha (28), Sakshi (26), Ratna (22), Jyoti (19) and a teenage daughter in house number 1061, Sector I of Ashiana. Four years ago, against her family, Sakshi had run away from home and had a love marriage with her son Chhedi Yadav (30), a resident of Sangipur district Pratapgarh police station, Vishnu Yadav and lived in her in-laws house in Pratapgarh. Vishnu and Sakshi also have a two-year old innocent daughter. On Tuesday evening, son-in-law Vishnu had come to his in-laws’ house with his wife. There was a dispute in the in-laws at around 9:30 pm and there was a fierce scuffle. The angry in-laws hit the son-in-law several times on the head with the foot of the cot, due to which the son-in-law fell on the floor of the room soaked in blood and the son-in-law died on the spot. This incident spread sensation in the entire area. Information from the control number reached Ashiana with the police force. The in-charge, after seeing the dead son-in-law, informed his officers about the incident and took the father-in-law and four sisters into custody for questioning, while the wife of the deceased lost her temper due to this incident and was not in a position to tell anything. Forensic team was called on the spot and samples were collected from the entire house and the samples were sent for testing. The police officers reached the spot and inspected the incident site and gave necessary instructions to the local police.

Two years ago, the father-in-law had accused the son-in-law of kidnapping a teenage girl, Shali.

According to the information received, the accused father-in-law Tirathraj, living in Sector I of Ashiana area, had filed a complaint in the Ashiana police station in the year 2024 accusing his son-in-law Vishnu Yadav of kidnapping his teenage sister-in-law, against which a case was registered and the accused son-in-law Vishnu Yadav also went to jail, which is the case pending.

Local people allege that the family is indecent,

After this incident which took place in Sector I of Ashiana area, a crowd of local people gathered outside the house of the accused and everyone was wondering what was going on inside. Some people said that this entire family is indecent, fighting with people every day is one of their habits, that is why no one is concerned with this family, even this house belongs to an officer of the Irrigation Department, which these people have forcibly occupied and do not even pay rent.

Ashiana Inspector Chhatrapal Singh said that information has been given to the family members of the deceased and it is not yet clear as to what led to the dispute and it even escalated into a fight. It will become clear only after interrogating the accused. On receiving complaint from the family of the deceased, a case will be registered and action will be taken.
