Sreesanth's entire career has been surrounded by controversies and he was also accused of match fixing and due to this he was banned. Although he was given a clean chit by the court, his career was over by then. Now, during a conversation on Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, the former pacer has made a big revelation.
He said, “I can say that all my life I have been told that I am a Madrasi from Bombay. From Under-13 to Under-19, I kept hearing only this. However, after this we got a chance to play against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the IPL and it felt like we were playing for the country.”
During the conversation on the same show, Sreesanth also alleged that Kochi Tuskers has not yet paid him his salary. He told that “IPL franchises have to pay a lot of money and they have not paid it till now. You should have brought Muttiah Muralitharan, Mahela Jayawardene and Brendon McCullum, they all would have told you the truth because they too have not received the money yet.”
Sreesanth further said, “I feel that BCCI has given them the money and please give us the money too. By the way, whenever you return, remember 18 percent interest. I think I will get the money by the time my son gets married. This team had come for years but could last only for one year. Now whenever players meet each other, they talk about it but no international player has raised his voice.”
Let us tell you that the right-arm fast bowler was a part of this team in the year 2011 and after that Kochi Tuskers was closed due to some financial situation. After this, many players have not received their salaries yet and Sreesanth has raised his voice regarding this.
