Harshit Rana will get this money not from KKR but from BCCI. According to BCCI rules, if a player under central contract gets injured and is out of the entire season, then he will get his full salary. Harshit Rana played 34 matches for KKR

The news of Harshit Rana's exclusion from IPL 2026 came just after Blessing Muzarabani joined KKR. KKR has selected Blessing Muzarabani as the replacement for Mustafizur Rahman.

Now KKR also faces the challenge of finding a replacement for Harshit Rana. Harshit Rana has been continuously playing for KKR in IPL. Till now he has played 34 matches for this team, in which he has taken 40 wickets.
