Born on 2 April 2004 in Aylesbury, England, James Coles belongs to Buckinghamshire. He joined the academy of Sussex County Cricket Club at the age of just 12. At the age of 16 years and 157 days, he created history by debuting for Sussex and became the club’s youngest debutant.

Coles has played more than 80 matches in first-class cricket and scored runs at an average of more than 38, which includes 8 centuries and 12 half-centuries. He has taken more than 50 wickets in bowling also. Due to his consistent good performance in recent years, he also got a chance in the England Lions team.
