Youngest Players Of IPL 2026: The excitement of IPL 2026 is going to start from March 28 and this time many young players can make headlines with their play in the tournament. Like every season, this time too there are some players who are getting a chance to play in the world’s biggest T20 league at a very young age. 1 Vaibhav Suryavanshi
The name at the top in this list is that of Rajasthan Royals’ young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Vaibhav, a resident of Bihar, is only 14 years and 233 days old. Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs 1.10 crore in the 2025 IPL auction. Vaibhav batted brilliantly this season and scored 252 runs in 7 matches, and also became the youngest batsman to score the most centuries in IPL history. He also performed brilliantly in the Under-19 World Cup 2026, scoring 439 runs in 7 matches and played a match-winning inning of 175 runs in the final.
2 Ayush Mhatre
Chennai Super Kings’ young all-rounder Ayush Mhatre is at second place. 18 years and 160 days old Ayush, a resident of Maharashtra, along with batting, also bowls spin. He has been retained for IPL 2026 for Rs 30 lakh. In IPL 2025, he scored 240 runs in 7 matches and his highest score was 94 runs. He was also the captain of the Indian team in the Under-19 World Cup, where he scored 214 runs and also took 7 wickets.
3 Sahil Parikh
Delhi Capitals’ young batsman Sahil Parikh is in third place. 18 years and 199 days old Sahil, who hails from Maharashtra, was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2026 auction. He is considered an emerging talented player of the team.
4 Satvik Deswal
At number four is Royal Challengers Bangalore’s left arm spinner Satwik Deswal. 18 years and 275 days old Satwik, hailing from Haryana, has been bought for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2026 auction. He can play an important role for the team with his spin bowling.
5 Vihaan Malhotra
The fifth name in this list is also that of Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Vihaan Malhotra. 18 years and 356 days old Vihaan, a resident of Punjab, also does spin bowling along with batting. He has been bought for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2026 auction. In the Under-19 World Cup, he performed brilliantly and scored 240 runs in 7 matches and also took 5 wickets.
